American Coalition for Ethanol — The American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE) is a non-profit membership association devoted to promoting the increased production and use of ethanol. ACE members are the leaders in the ethanol industry.

Alternative Fuels Data Center — From the Office of Transportation Technologies, U. S. Department of Energy, this center hosts and maintains a website that is a one-stop shop for all your alternative fuel and vehicle information needs. This site has more than 3,000 documents in its database, an interactive fuel station mapping system, listings of available alternative fuel vehicles, links to related websites, and much more.

Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute — The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute (AFVi) is an entrepreneurial organization dedicated to helping America reduce dependence on foreign oil by transitioning to alternative fuels and advanced transportation technologies. AFVi provides educational events, training courses, forums, webcasts and electronic news for fleets and others interested in alternative fuels and advanced transportation technologies.

Biodiesel Industries — Biodiesel is a nontoxic, biodegradable diesel fuel made from recycled cooking oil. It substantially reduces emissions, particularly black sooty exhaust, and makes the exhaust smell like french fries. Biodiesel has been officially designated as an alternative fuel under both state and federal law, and is registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The first biodiesel fueling station in the United States was opened to the public on May 22, 2001 in Las Vegas, NV. This landmark event is the culmination of two years of work between private industry and Nevada government.

Clark County Department of Air Quality & Environmental Management — The Clark County Department of Air Quality & Environmental Management is the regulatory and enforcement agency in Clark County, Nevada. The department conducts enforcement activities, establishes permit requirements for sources of pollution, and institutes innovative mitigation programs in its efforts to ensure that Clark County will reach and maintain attainment of all federal air quality standards.

Included is information on light and heavy-duty vehicles and mechanisms to search for local dealers and local refueling and recharging sites.

Electric Drive Transportation Association — The Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) is dedicated to advancing electric drive as a core technology on the road to sustainable mobility.  As an advocate for the adoption of electric drive technologies, EDTA serves as the unified voice for the industry and is the primary source of information and education related to electric drive. EDTA’s membership includes a diverse representation of vehicle and equipment manufacturers, energy providers, component suppliers and end users.

Gas Technology Institute — Gas Technology Institute (GTI) is an independent, not-for-profit technology organization that provides products, programs, research, information and services related to energy and the environment, with a focus on the production, delivery, use and environmental aspects of natural gas. GTI was formed in 2000 through the combination of the Gas Research Institute and the Institute of Gas Technology.

International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles — The IANGV is an international membership organization that provides the NGV industry with an international forum and an advocate for NGVs. It now has 500 corporate and individual members in 35 countries. IANGV holds a biennial international conference, provides periodic seminars and an international forum for information exchange on natural gas fueling and vehicles.

Methanol Institute — The Methanol Institute (MI) is the only trade association representing the methanol industry in Washington and across the United States. One of the Institute’s primary goals is to protect and expand markets for methanol.

National Biodiesel Board — The National Biodiesel Board is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to coordinating the biodiesel industry and educating the public about the fuel. Its membership is comprised of state, national, and international feedstock and processor organizations; biodiesel suppliers; fuel marketers and distributors; and technology providers.

National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence — The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) was established in 1972 as a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through the testing and certification of repair and service professionals. To remain certified, those with ASE credentials must be retested every five years. ASE certification is a valuable yardstick by which to measure the knowledge and skills of individual technicians as well as the commitment to quality of the repair facility employing ASE-certified professionals.

Natural Gas Vehicle Institute — The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) is North America's leading provider of training and consulting services on subjects related to natural gas as an alternative vehicle fuel. NGVi’s services and programs address the full range of alternative vehicle fuel issues—from building and maintaining a fueling station to adding NGVs to fleets to mapping a Clean Cities Program.

Natural Gas Vehicle for America — NGVAmerica is a national membership organization dedicated to the development of a growing, sustainable and profitable natural gas vehicle market. NGVAmerica represents more than 100 natural gas companies, engine, vehicle and equipment manufacturers and service providers, as well as environmental groups and government organizations interested in the promotion and use of natural gas as a transportation fuel.

Office of Transportation and Air Quality — U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Transportation and Air Quality protects public health and the environment by controlling air pollution from motor vehicles, fuels, and non-road equipment, and by encouraging travel choices that minimize emissions.

Propane Education and Research Council — The purpose of the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) is to promote the safe, efficient use of propane as a preferred energy source. Through the Council, the propane industry has committed itself to a multi-year, multi-million dollar effort to improve consumer and employee safety, to fund research and development of new and more efficient propane equipment, and to expand public awareness of propane and its many uses and environmental advantages.

U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities Program — U.S. Department of Energy's Clean Cities Program supports partnerships that deploy alternative fuel vehicles and build supporting alternative fuel infrastructure.
